東京DOGS
AhhHHhHHhh... this jus affirms that I like guys with short hair!
*swoons*
Takakura So (Oguri Shun) a Japanese elite from the NYPD, blotched a big time capture and was demoted back to Japan's police force. There, with the help of his Japan's supervisor, who is his late father's close friend, he was teamed with Maruo to investigate drug dealings which are possibly leads to the mastermind that got away in New York, and who also is the killer of his father.
I like him better here than in Hana Kimi!
Kudo Maruo (Mizushima Hiro), the happy-go-lucky, flirty, former delinquent police that is the total opposite from the cool-headed, logical, textbook-styled So.
As such, they are always getting into nonsensical squibbles in the heat of an investigation.
So, despite his tough outlook, is a mummy's boy and is often seen receiving calls from his mum asking his opinions on minute things when he's in the midst of a stake out or chasing after suspects.
Horikawa Keiichi (Katsuji Ryo), formerly Maruo's equally timid and useless partner, was reshuffled to team up with others and tasked with a full-time job of looking after Yuki. After days of sticking around in the cafe as an undercover waiter serving customers while protecting Yuki, he got frustrated for not being involved in the investigative cases that So and Maruo were put on and vowed to his girlfriend that he will achieve his mark and marry her.
He's quite cute~
Matsunaga Yuki (Yoshitaka Yuriko) was rescued from the scene of the firefight during the blotched capture of the drug trafficking mastermind in New York without any memories. She was initially placed under house protection for she might be an important link to the mastermind and there might be risk on her life but subsequently, to aid her recovery, she was allowed to work in the cafe together with Horikawa.
The plot is quite captivating and the interactions of So with Maruo and his mama is very funny! Particularly enjoyed the scene where Maruo and Yuki followed So back to his house with So is embarrassed by his mama and also the parting scene at the airport. HAHHA~
